Good
Central to centre which was great friendly staff clean hotel very nice area great car park attached to the hotel being in the centre so this was very beneficial as it may have been otherwise difficult to get parking thankfully we did not have to worry about that
I liked most things but i would have liked more english speaking channels on the tv as we were kinda stuck with a news channel all the time plus it was very disappointing the wifi went down on sat morning and did not return before we left on sunday i understand this was a problem for you but it did impact on us unfortunately

A well appointed comfortable location and perfect for exploring Rennes old town.
The location was excellent, Value for money with good sized rooms. Attentive well informed staff. Great facilities. Comfortable beds. Parking on site real added bonus.
Single breakfast cost of nineteen (€19.00) euro per person was far to expensive when surrounded by local cafe and bars charging eight €8.00 euro for the same menu When booking rooms the hotel should provide more details of the one way vehicle access system! (confusing due to directional signs) prohibitive except for hotel access? The bedroom was as expected with the exception of the two single low quality pillows. We had to request additional pillows through reception, a minimum of two per customer stored in the room if required would help.

Great city for pedestrians. we ate at an unpreposing restaurant Saturday evening, food very good
most. Room fair sized; bed v, comfortable; breakfast, actually good, plenty of variety
Can't be improved by Mercure, but the underground parking is VERY tight if you have a big car. Again, not the fault of the hotel but Rennes itself is not at all car friendly; too many routes barres and 1 way streets that lead nowhere. And on Sunday streets closed off for markets - not so good if you are trying to exit the city.
